Apple Hires Architect of BMW and Mercedes SatNav in Mapping Push

Apple Maps development team and systems for vehicle CarPlay the arrival of a new software engineer named Sinisa Durekovic expert in satellite navigation systems.

As reported by Bloomberg, Apple Durekovic recruited in October last year lined up to work on the development of Apple Maps and CarPlay system for vehicles.

Based on his LinkedIn page, Durekovic who has 25 years of experience in the field of design and development of software systems serving as Digital Map Systems Consulting.
I am the Software Architect, Engineer and a Team Leader with more than 25 years of experience in design and development of software systems. After 8 years as Principal Engineer in a mid-sized company, I assumed role of Senior Principal Architect and later Chief Engineer at major premium Navigation System supplier. My main work is in area of the Map-Enhanced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Digital Maps and Car Navigation Systems.
Durekovic known as a software engineer who has experience working in a number of the world's leading automotive companies, such as BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz.

In addition at the big automotive companies, Durekovic also worked as head engineer at Harman / Becker Automotive Systems, NAVTEQ, and ComROAD AG.

Male graduate of the University of Zagreb, Krosia, it also holds patents system which uses data mapping technology to prevent car accidents.
