Archos Launches Outdoor Smartphone with 5 inch screen

One of outdor equipment manufacturers from France, in cooperation with the Archos launches Quechua tough smartphone resistant to shock, water, mud, sand and snow.

Quechua's latest smartphone has been equipped with a certified IP 54 backed by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm chipset and 1GB of RAM at. Built with a 5-inch wide screen, this smartphone offers a 5-megapixel main camera with 4 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot, as reported by linformaticien.

Runs on OS Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the tough smartphone also has a battery 3,500 mAh battery, which is claimed to last for about 22 hours of talk time.

Quechua tough smartphone priced at € 230. It remains unclear whether these products will be sold globally, or just certain areas.
