ZTE introduces IMS Applications for Smartphone

ZTE Corporation announced the application of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) is aimed at new users of smartphones in the world.

ZTE launched the application for the first time in Europe and America at the IMS World Forum 2012 event in Madrid. This application allows a fast and efficient access to mobile VoIP functionality.

ZTE to develop IMS applications are based on the application of the IMS system is very successful in Europe with increased an average of 100,000 new users each month. This application also enables operators to offer services that combine Internet applications and traditional telecommunications services so that customers can expand coverage and increase revenue.

With this application, customers can install the IMS client to the smartphone and mobile services using VoIP and other multimedia services while still able to receive phone calls and SMS using 2G/3G channel. This solution not only supports VoIP and SMS, but also can serve many more functions, including IP Centrex, VMS, VPABX, Home Zone, Video Conference, Instant Messaging and Presence Service (IM / PS), file transfer, and sharing pictures .

At the end of the year 2011, ZTE has implemented over 140 projects worldwide commercial IMS in many commercial networks. Some countries that have implemented IMS include Italy, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Albania, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Singapore, India, America, and China. IMS did not rule out the project and the application will be applied on a commercial network in Indonesia in the future.
